So, it was 8:50 pm and I was dropping something off in Sproul when I realized that I forgot to get a birthday card for my sister.  I had to rush back to Hedrick by 9 because I forgot my bruincard in my room and didn’t feel like being hassled by access control to get into Hedrick.  So I rushed down to hilltop to look at birthday cards and I saw one under the tab “sister.” So I skimmed over and thought it was a good card. While rushing back to Hedrick, I started reading the cover of the card which had a short message, it read:

            Share the memories of the past,
            accept our weaknesses,
            celebrate our strengths,
            Understand us better than anyone else in the world,
            And love us just the way we are.

Aww how sweet…. right?  Then I read the title of the message … it read “SISTERS”

 Pause 

 SISTERS?!?! As in she... and I... are… sisters?  Last time I checked,  I’m not a sister !!!!!!!!!!!! After 7.5 minutes of trauma, I tried to convince myself that the card was describing my sister and NOT describing me and her as… sisters Apparently others aren’t that convinced…. What do you think? Oh yea by the way, the card had a lot of flowers, pink flowers on it...

Hah, I’m glad I got a good laugh out of it and I learned never to buy a card without reading the whole thing EVER again. pure genius.

DONE DONE DONE DONE DONE ! DONE.... just like the Lakers.  if you're offended at this, dont get me wrong, i'm as big of lakers fan as you are, but what they did this year was... depressing.  they expected to be able to not try and like a flick of a switch be able to pound teams with ease.  for a while there, they did and well ! but they lost.   Kobe guaranteed a win, putting his credibility on the line. did they win? nope.  coincidentally, hes on trial for rape.... saying that he didnt do it.  what do you think???

its 6am, hedrick is turning out to be really REALLY nice, suddenly there are plants and flowers, also a sidewalk, for the last 2 days we have left ! i wonder why more people dont live in hedrick !  no sunrise today... its been gloomy these last couple days, i'm waiting patiently for beautiful catalina island and a whole week of relaxation, community, and word study ! whoooooooooooooooooooo !  time to distract myself for another 1.5 hrs.
